The Cultural Association Grup d’Art’4 is organizing the third audition of the Concerts al Miracle cycle with the sponsorship of the Regional Council of La Noguera, the collaborations of the Paeria de Balaguer and the Parish of Balaguer. This concert will be held on April 12 at six in the afternoon, in the church of the Miracle in Balaguer.
On this occasion, the chamber group “Scherzo” has been invited, formed by four musicians from Balaguer (Gerard Nadal, flute, Gemma Freixes and Núria Pascual violins and Teresa Valls cello).
The “Scherzo” Quartet emerged in 1995 from the concern of a group of students from the Municipal School of Music of Balaguer. For more than thirty years they have been bringing music throughout Catalonia, with concerts and shows that are very varied, from sacred music to musicals, both in concert format and in theatrical performances or choral accompaniment.
The concert they present on this occasion, CLÀSSICS QUE PERDUREN (CLASSICS THAT ENDURE), is a journey through their career.
They present us with a concert format where there will be no program, the audience will discover the different pieces they will play, well-known, and which range from baroque music to pop songs of our days, also including film music.
Admission to the concert will be at the reverse ticket office.
